
As the Chairperson of the Authority, the Hon’ble Home Minister commenced his visits to the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) with effect from 26th August 2025. The visits are being undertaken with the objective of gaining an in-depth understanding of the respective mandates and undertakings of the CSOs, in line with Authority’s commitment to ensuring inclusive policy-making and further strengthening coordination between the Authority and the CSOs.
During the visits, the CSOs presented their mandates, key achievements, ongoing programs, and future plans. They also had the opportunity to submit critical issues requiring due attention. The Hon’ble Chairperson expressed his deepest appreciation for the significant efforts and contributions made by the CSOs in addressing societal challenges and complementing the Government’s initiatives. He also assured his fullest support in addressing the issues raised and in fostering better coordination with relevant agencies.
This initiative is expected not only to reinforce the overall governance of the CSOs but also to make the sector more dynamic, participatory, and inclusive. The outcome is envisioned to serve as a true game-changer in transforming and reshaping the landscape of the sector, thereby further strengthening the role of CSOs in supporting the Government’s efforts to address pressing societal concerns.
As of 28th August 2025, the Hon’ble Chairperson, accompanied by the Secretariat officials, has visited eight CSOs.
