As per the directives of the 44th Authority Meeting held on 12 January 2026, Film Association of Bhutan (FAB) has been determined to have failed to fulfil the mandatory compliance requirements as stipulated under the Civil Society Organizations Act and its Regulations. This is despite the several official notifications issued by the Civil Society Organizations Authority (CSOA), the Association has not been able to provide proof of its continued existence nor submit valid justifications for the prolonged delay in the renewal of its CSO Registration certificate. In view of the above and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, the Authority has resolved to dissolve the FAB due to severe, repeated and prolonged non-compliances of mandatory requirements.

Therefore, the Authority would like to officially request creditors having any claims against or with the organization to show cause against the dissolution within one month of this notice.
